Schau mal im Forum nach wie andere User das machen, ein Hallo aus Kanada ist zwar schön, aber nicht sehr informativ

noch ein paar Zeilen nachlegen und alles ist gut.

Schließe mich meinem Vorredner an.
Vorstellung ist auch in englisch möglich.

ein moment bitte, es ist nur 8 uhr in Canada.

meinen deutsch hatte ich auf die Schule gelernt... in 1995.
But my English is much better (and french). I have a 2007 a4 convertible s line from the states that I imported in Canada. At that time there was only 5 mimosa red quattro convertibles for sale in the USA. It only had 50.000km at that time and now has 92.000. Since I bought it there are now 2 other mimosa red convertibles in my 80.000 people town. grrr
It is my daily driver means that I drive it also during winter snow storms.
Had some problems with the motor from the convertible top that I brought it 2 times for a repair and last year i replace the motor. DIY on the internet are not always the best solutions.
Now my problem is that the black trim on the alu trim on top of the windshield is no longer attached. That's the reason I'm now a member on this forum.
there are 2 solutions i think. first replace the alu trim with an other one or second glue the black trim on the alu trim. In both cases I must remove the alu trim.
there is a video on youtube how to do it. for sure my wife will freak out!!!!

The problem with the alu trim is well known. A new one is very expensive, and I know that some members glue the black trim on the alu trim. I'm sure they can tell you, which glue they have used and how to remove the alu trim.

i have seen that they use 2k kleber. I suppose that is a 2 component glue.
several members are proposing this but have not seen any pictures of the installation itself.
