Hello,

the rubber trim that is attached to the alu trim on top of the windshield has fallen off. I still have the black rubber trim . I like to glue it with 2 component glue (2k kleber) back to the alut trim but how do you remove the alu trim?

There are several threads regarding this problem in the forum.
For a manual, just go to section "Tipps und Einbauanleitungen Audi A4 Cabrio" and open thread "Alublende Windschutzscheibe montieren??"
However, it is all in German as you know.

BTW, my rubber ledge started to loosen on one end two years ago. I fixed it again using cyanacylate glue for car bodies. After I had applied
the glue to the ledge, I put in in position and secured it by sliding wooden stir sticks from McDonald's between windscreen and the ledge.
Worked fine and still lasts up to now.

my rubber ledge is completely removed. yours was only partiel. do you think i can install the ledge without removing the upper alu trim?

In the case I have to remove the alu trim. Do I have to remove also the A saule alu trim?
